You can calculate the Link budget (Signal level at receiver) and then compare it with Rx Reception sensitivity. Then you will understand Radio Channel Status (Pass or Fail) and Cell Radius.

  • If I use the 4G LTE LINK BUDGET CALCULATOR to determine the max distance for a Radio Channel Status=Pass for uplink, does this indicate the max distance to attach to the eNB or max distance for a minimum upload speed of a specific value? I looked at the 3GPP 38.901 standard but could not tell the answer.

  • Hi, this is a prefect calculator for LB in 4G and 5G. But I wanna a method how could I export the calculation result into a excel table ?
