This Page provides information about 5G, 4G Neighbor planning calculator. Сalculator allows to planning Neighbors for Cell of 5G NR or 4G LTE. The intra-technology Neighbor planning algorithm takes into account distance between Cell and Neighbor Cell. The calculation is based on the 3GPP standard recommendation.
To obtain the correct result of Neighbor planning calculator, it is necessary to enter Enter Maximum Neighbor Distance between Base station and Neighbor Base station. If the distance between the Cell and the candidate neighbour is greater than this value, then the candidate neighboor is discarded.
To get the result:
- “Copy-Paste” 5G, 4G Base stations data from Excel format (Max: 100 Base station)
- Enter Number of 5G, 4G Base stations (Major!)
- Enter Number of Cells per Base station (and Cells Labels)
- Click: Calculate! Wait 5-10 sec…
- You will get a list of 5G, 4G Neighbor depending on Distance
